How to use Davines OI All-in-One Milk
A quick read on formula weight, where to apply it, and which hair types should use a lighter hand.
A sprayable milk that behaves like detangler, leave-in, and finishing softener.
Mist from distance or spray into hands
You want lightweight performance with a bigger sensory signature.
Hair is fine; increase distance or apply through hands first.

What Barb said
“Truly beautiful product. Almost a hybrid detangler and leave-in in one. The smell is not for everyone but I personally love it. Lightweight but has a punch. 8/10 rating. Great for all hair types but would maybe use less on finer hair or hold the sprayer further from the hair or spray into hands first.”
Who it’s for
All hair types, though Barb recommends a light hand on finer hair — spray from further away or apply to hands first. On medium-to-thick hair, apply directly through mid-lengths and ends.
Who it isn’t for
Anyone with a strong fragrance sensitivity. The Davines OI line has a distinctive scent (think bergamot, amber, vetiver) — you either love it immediately or can’t get past it.
Formulation notes
Not labeled as clean, but plant-forward. Formulated with roucou oil (a beta-carotene rich Amazonian fruit) as the hero ingredient, with heat protection up to 230°C / 446°F. Color-safe confirmed by brand.
Pros and cons
Pros: True multi-function (detangle + condition + finish) · Lightweight with real performance · All hair types · Heat protection to 446°F · Color-safe
Cons: Signature scent is polarizing — sample before committing · Not labeled as clean · Fine hair needs careful application
